As a trained psychoanalyst, I have always been interested in one’s relationships with one’s self and others.
Just as a psychoanalyst explores all layers of human consciousness, these photographs explore New York City’s multidimensional cultural layers through reflections.
By investigating these, one can observe serendipitous encounters between people and the environment. The unintended figure/ground interactions between the exterior buildings, interior views and reflections can reveal the soul of the city.
Images are single exposure and non-composites.
